Project Summary

Local Kitchen & Wine Merchant is a San Francisco outlet that encompasses a restaurant specializing in locally sourced, Italian inspired cuisine as well as an in house wine store that’s stocked with international and stateside selections.

The challenge was to unify both aspects of the location while giving the branding an approachable yet sophisticated vibe. Taking inspiration from mid century Italian storefronts, I hand lettered a script logo that feels friendly and modern. I also illustrated two patterns that represent each side of the business separately, but layer together to create a third, unified pattern.
